Syml Connect were proud to sponsor the recent Digital Health Conference at Salford University. This event attracted interest from Provider Trusts, CCGs, local authorities and universities all keen to hear about digital health transformation in the context of the Five Year Forward View and STPs.
Amongst the guest speakers were, Martin Spotswood, Regional Head for NHS Digital, Lenny Naar, Head of Helix Methods, Imperial College London and Liz Ashall-Payne, CEO ORCHA (the Organisation for Review of Health and Care Apps).
The Syml team were on hand to provide demonstrations of the digital solutions in the vibrant exhibition area. We were also pleased to run a seminar session entitled, Simple mHealth Solutions for enhanced efficiency in clinical monitoring. This seminar attracted considerable attention and in the break-out sessions delegates were able to discuss:
- Avoidable time wastage
- Manual process improvement
- Patient empowerment
The event was a great success for Syml with excellent engagement and attendance – it was further topped off by us winning a bottle of champagne for correctly guessing the current number of health Apps on the market!
