SymlConnect collaborating with GP practices in Swansea

Following approval from Andrew Griffiths, Head of NHS Wales, in Jan’13, Syml_CarePad+ is being piloted in four Swansea GP practices using the EMIS GP system. GPs going to home visits, download the patient information in the CarePad+ from their own system before leaving the practice. At the visits they can access the information in a secured and confidential surrounding allowing them to view the up-to-date information and input further data as per consultation. The data is seamlessly uploaded to their own practice system on return to the practice surroundings, saving them clinical time and improving efficiency.
